Where is the "Log a call" page layout

The page layout of the "Shedule follow up task" section of the "Log a Call" feature is based on the layout used by the default Task record type assuming you are using record types - if not, I guess it is just based on the page layout for Task. What path in setup does one follow to edit the page layout for "Log A Call" Abasic service rep just told me this page is uneditable. I was hoping to replace the lower part of the page, all that's below "Schedule follow up task" with the standard button labeled named "Create Follow Up Task.
